After 15 years of DOC status, we decided to “call it by its name”, starting with the 2011 vintage, to show how special it is to us. This unique wine is produced almost exclusively in the municipality of Verduno, from the rare native grape variety Pelaverga Piccolo. You can tell that it is special by its colour, but what is particularly captivating is its unmistakable spicy scent, especially of pepper, hence Speziale (spezia being the Italian word for spice).
Let yourself be seduced!
